 The name greatapes indicates the species belonging to the class of the primates and to the family of the hominides. Among these species there are the human being, the gorilla, the chimpanzee, the bonobon the orang-outan. In the french language, the gibbon belongs to the monkeys but not in the English language ("greatapes)

Associations to help great apes...

A lot of African and Asian non profit-making associations have been helping primates for years. Some of these associations are isolated and only have restricted means to deal with food and medical care for great apes.

What about the project (in a few words)...

The objectives of Great Apes are:

•    Establish a therapeutic database in each center (diseases,treatments,results)

•    Collect drugs (gifts of drugs by veterinary clinics,laboratories and dispensaries)
•     Finance the forwarding of drugs through the selling of photographs on line and the support of laboratories
